The Team

Our start-up began during the COVID pandemic with a series of online workshops, interviews, and a Festival of Solo Performances. We were supported in this journey by Shalini Vatsa, Himanshu Tyagi, Bharat Babbar, Jatin Goswami, and Bijesh Jayarajan—who have since moved on, but to whom we owe our gratitude.

The TFBC team is small but dedicated, hard-working, and talented. The team is led by Barry John and consists of Debabrata Kumar, Shubham Pachauri, Risshi Arora, Bhavish Kukreja, Pallavi Chavan, and Gajendra Rai. Their profiles are as follows:

BARRY JOHN

Proprietor & Director

Born and educated in the UK, he has been in India since 1968 and is now a naturalized Indian citizen.

SHUBHAM PACHAURI

Teacher

Shubham discovered his passion for performance early through theatre workshops.

BHAVISH KULREJA

Teacher

Bhavish Kukreja is an actor and casting director from Gurgaon, active in theatre since 2009.

DEBABRATA KUMAR

Cinematographer, Editor, Teacher

Hailing from Purulia in West Bengal, Debabrata came to Mumbai to pursue his passion for acting and film.

RISHI ARORA

Risshi Arora is a Chartered Accountant from Mumbai with over 10 years of experience in finance and taxation and also holds the CPA (Australia) designation.

PALLAVI CHAVAN

Office Assistant

Pallavi was born and raised in Mumbai. She has a BA Degree from Mumbai University.
